1) Qur'an translations on the net

2) Hadith translations on the net

3) Online scholars

4) Madrassas and schools on the net

I've come across a few faulty things and feel it's better to have all the above in book form, from good translators

Can you name some good websites with Quran/Hadith/Scholars (and translation)

Thanks

  5. You  need to know if the writer is reputable  scholar or not.

If you feel doubt about a Madrasah or school on net or   you are welcome to bring to our attention.  Insha Allah we shall look into it and shall help you find if it is trustworthy or not.

    I give you a link

    http://www.searchtruth.com/chapter_displ...

On this site you can read translations of Quran from four well known

scholars of Quran and under Hadith section, collection of ahadith

from several Hadith collectors.  This also has search engine. With the use of this you can find Quranic Ayahs on any  topic. You need to write short and precise word on search strip to find the related Ayahs. Slowly you will learn and understand what I mean to say. For example to find Ayahs on Zakah, just write Zakah or Zakat  and Charity  and you shall find all related Ayahs in Quran. You can pick the translator of Quran you like and Quran will give you Ayahs with his translations.  If you have difficulty in using this site, you are welcome to contact me . My

    e-mail is on my profile.

May Allah keep us on the right path of Allah, forgive our sins and reward us for our efforts on the path of Allah.

  6. 1) Qur'an translations on the net

The best translation is the Muhammad Muhsin Khan and Shaykh Taqee ud Deen al Hilaalee translation. It's available on www.quraan.com and www.qurancomplex.com

This is not just a translation but a tafseer in translation summary form (interpretation) based on the Tafseer of Ibn Katheer.

Most other translations have some errors, some are very serious errors in 'Aqeedah.

    2) Hadith translations on the net

The websites: www.sahihbukhari.com and www.sahihmuslim.com have decent translations but a lot of spelling mistakes. I dont like translations of Hadeeth period, a lot of meaning is lost in the translation, that's why I always post the Arabic.

    3) Online scholars & 4) Madrassas and schools on the net

Places like sunnipath and askimam are all soofees sites. Most of these people are NOT scholars, they're people who've learned and many of them are deviated, either soofees or Ikhwaanis.

The BEST place online to "interact" with Ulemaa is www.seekknowledge.org and www.albaseerah.org/forum

On these sites the Ulemaa are contacted via phone and it's broadcast live on paltalk and the web and through the phone. They are also translated. The scholars that are contacted are MAJOR scholars like Shaykh 'Abdul-Azeez Aal ash-Shaykh, the grand Muftee of Saudi Arabia.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YY6yJBG7-...

And Shaykh 'Abdullaah bin Abdur-Rahmaan al-Ghudyaan who's a major scholar on the Lajnah ad-Daa'imah lil Iftaa and also on the committee of major scholars in Saudi Arabia

And Shaykh WaseeUllaah Abbaas al Hindee who's a major scholar in the Haram in Makkah and a teacher at Umm al Qura:

And Shaykh Saaleh as Suhaymee, a major scholar in Madeenah:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UC80OeAue...

    And MANY more

There is a yearly seminar as well (see the videos) where you spend 3 weeks in Makkah & Madeenah being taught by over 35 of the Major scholars, including the Aa'imah of the Haramayn such as Shaykh 'Alee al Hudhayfee (ask the people of Madeenah how difficult it is to sit with him if you LIVE in Madeenah) and Shaykh Sudayis and Saaleh Aal Taleb (see the video with Shaykh Suhaymee, he's sitting beside him).
