  1. You don't turn inside out.

Humans and animals exposed to vacuum will lose consciousness after a few seconds and die of hypoxia within minutes.

Blood and other body fluids boil due to low outside pressure (this is called ebullism).  The steam may bloat the body to twice its normal size.

Rapid evaporative cooling of the skin will create frost, particularly in the mouth.

A short term exposure to vacuum of up to 30 seconds is unlikely to cause permanent physical damage.

  2. no, u would just explode due to the lack of air pressure

  3. Well I suppose that is a friendly way of describing the event that is not quite as gory as the real thing...

Point of fact: The human body exists on Earth under 14 PSI of atmospheric pressure. To resist that pressure, the human body

pushes back against the atmospheric pressure with an equal

    14 PSI of pressure.

Were you to remove the external pressure by jumping out into

space unprotected by any kind of sealed and pressurized space

suit, all of the fluids and organs within your body would immediately

try to exit through the nearest available orafices such as:

    the mouth

    the ears

    the a**s

    the urethea

    the eyes

    the nose

Now that is not exactly turning inside out, but it is certainly

    going to be a mess.

And, since the temperature of Space is something like Minus

270 degrees Kelvin (or something like that), everything is going  to flash freeze very quickly.

  4. Nope you'd just suffocate and the fluids in your body would turn to gas.  No imploding / exploding/ or turning inside out.

  5. actually its explained at the end of this quiz http://www.oneplusyou.com/q/v/space_vacu...

in case you don't feel like taking it(it estimates the amount of time you would survive based on a few health criteria):

"n the first 30 seconds any fluid on the surface of your body would begin to boil due to lack of ambient pressure, this includes the saliva on your tongue and the moisture in your eyes. Your eardrums would most likely burst due to the pressure in your body trying to equalize with the vacuum outside. Unlike what some science fiction films have suggested, your body would not explode.

After the first 15 seconds you would lose consciousness. If you held your breath you could potentially stay alive longer but you risk pulmonary trauma. If you didn't hold your breath you'd pass out sooner, but your lungs might have a better chance of avoiding permanent damage.

The pressure in your veins would rise until your heart no longer had the capacity to pump blood, at which point you'd die. "

  6. No because then u will die
