Yes they will work any wear the only thing you need to make sure is that the ODU (dish) is pointed south/east ,also make sure you get the serves plan just in case some thing would happen to the receiver if you don't get it and some thing would happen to the receiver you may pay the full cast of the receiver starting from $99.99 and up to $1500.00

Also make sure you DON'T let DirecTV know that you have the receiver in Mexico!
