Bank will not cash without 2 signatures ... one is a deceased spouse. Does the IRS need to issue another check?

  1. No you do not need to get another check.  Your filing status for 2007 was married filing jointly for the entire year.  So if you received $1,200 or $600 then it is all yours.  The stimuls check was based upon your income and filing status.  Take your spouse's death certificate with you when you go to your bank.  Make sure you have a photo ID as well.  Sorry for your loss.
