Can you recommend a WEBCAM for under GBP£30?

I would like a webcam for home use, to chat to my friend in New Zealand and to my friends at home. I'm looking for good sound and very good picture quality, MSN and preferably Skype compatible, Windows Vista and laptop compatible, with built in microphone.

Sounds like a lot, but all of said things are the norm, I just wanted to clarify.

I'm fed up with techno jibberish so I'm wondering if any of you own or know of a good webcam available online or instore (eg Argos) which you would care to recommend?

  1. I'd say look in Tescos or ASDA for Logitech.

I have never had any problems with Logitech and you can usually pick them up for low end price of 20 pounds. High end spec would be more like 60. However the low end does everything you'd expect.

Infact you get a programme on it that will also take pictures and record videos. They will hook up to most programmes - MSN/Yahoo/AIM/Skype etc.

    Hope this helps.
