i recently went to the bank because i was really worried about going above our £2000 overdraft, the person behind the counter suggested adding 10 years to our mortgage, he started to fill in paperwork but i wasnt happy, this would have just saved £70 a month anyway i dont want to have to continue working for 10 years more just to pay ff £2000 overdraft now

i am quite appaled at the suggestion really, but i am able to recognise a sell with the bank and came to another idea instead

what i would like to do ( when i am a bit more sure and stable with my money myself) is go on to help others in similar situations, but unbiased not tied to bank perhaps citizens advice

can you reccomend a course that would help me learn about personal finance then go on th help others after i have helped myself

thanks for your suggestions,

also, obviously i am on a tight budget so a cost effective way to do this would be great

thanks
