Can you recommend a fun lively restaurant in the essex area?

we live in loughton & want a restaurant with entertainment or a lively atmos which is not too far to travel

Grahams on the green in chelmsford offers both a set menu and a la carte. I prefer the set menu, even though there isn't much choice, the food is still delicious and a two course meal will only set you back about £20.

The restaurant itself is modern and has a good atmosphere with live entertainment every other weekend of each month, live singers, Jazz bands, etc.
