  1. go to the oxo tower best views of london and the food is great as well

  2. there is a nice restaurant in knightsbridge close to Harrods called Patisserie Concerto..

they do very nice food and even better desserts and cakes...

have a look at their website: www.patisserieconcerto.co.uk

  3. the ivy in covent garden, also a huge celeb stakeout, serves the best food i have ever eaten, no kidding. easily the best steak ever and well worth the money. easy to get to, best service and the best food ever!

  4. there is a fantastic place on finchly road called just around the corner it is french with no prices on the menu you pay wha you feel the meal is worth, the food is amazing and the service is great.

also a mexican i whitleys shopping center queensway, again great food

  5. Depends how far out you want to go but my hubby and i go to the il comino burlington road new malden (not far from raynes park you get the 131 from there or wimbledon) We ususaly spend around £70 for a 3 course meal with wine coffee and liqures, its mainly Italian/English but the staff are friendly and the food excellent.

  6. The Blue Elephant, a Thai restaurant in Fulham, is really amazing. It can be expensive, but the food and atmosphere are amazing. There's a little river with a bridge over it within the restaurant - it's really lovely.

  7. Waxy O' Connors in Leicester Square is a good Guiness pub. Take a walk from there (after a few) to Covent Garden and you pass quite a few. Just because it's the centre of London doesn't always make them over priced.

  8. Rules................Rule!!! Maiden Lane
