  1. Absolutely not!  If you use anything as a sole source for information (especially regarding fish), you're just gonna end up in trouble.  Things go out of popularity fast-- new technology, discoveries, and theories are being constructed, made, and formulated every day, and to use just one book that doesn't change as the hobby does is foolish.  The best thing you can do is rake in all the information you can find, then form a basic idea based on your experience and LOGIC (far superior to most websites).  If you still aren't sure, find a reliable PERSON to ask, or better yet, a GROUP of reliable people to bounce ideas off of.  This is the beauty (and beast) of the Internet-- the whole world is at your fingertips.  I base my answers off of experience, research (books, Internet, magazines, scientific papers, etc.), people I trust (in person and on the web), and most importantly, LOGIC.  If somebody says something and you question the reasoning, go ahead and question the reasoning!  Never take anything without an explanation, as this just gives you a partial understanding.

  2. WELL THERE'S ALWAYS THE LIBRARY... AND IF NOT.. CHECK GOOGLE.COM AND UHH TYPE IN TROPICAL AQUARIUM REFERENCE
