Can you recommend a great language institute in Costa Rica where I can study Spanish at the beach?

I loved it they had one in San Jose which is the captial and one right next to Manual Antonio Beach.

They also offered different excursions every weekend to a bunch of different locations throughout the country like Tortuga, San Jose, and the Pez volcano.

There are many many language schools in Costa Rica near the beach, I would try a google search.

CPI is at a beach. is located at flamingo beach, is nice and wonderful place but is harder to learn spanish at a beach cuz almost every one there speaks to you in english.

Costa Rican beaches are not the best places to learn Spanish because 1) language schools there are much more expensive, 2) unless you have a homestay, you will not learn much Spanish and Costa Ricans do not usually have air conditioning so it will be incredibly hot, 4) it is hard to avoid large numbers of English speakers at most beaches  and 4) there are lots of distractions.  You will learn more Spanish in the interior and you can still go to the beach on weekends. and come out spending less money.

That said, I know of two good language schools in beach areas D'Amore in Manuel Antonio, and CPI (Centro Panamericano de Idiomas) in Playa Flamingo.   I am sure there are others just as good (there are some in Jaco and Tamarindo that you can find on the web) , but the two I mention have been in operation for 10 years or more.

like, actually ON the beach?  well, doubtful.  how bout if you enroll in a univ in costa rica and then go do your homework on the beach?
