Can you recommend a home school comparable to abeka but not as pricey?

i need a second grade program and i like the dvd option that abeka offers...can you please help

  1. We use Christian Liberty Press.  I'm not sure if it compares to Abeka but it's not as pricey, but I don't think they have a DVD option. You can search google for Christian Liberty Press and see what they have, or order a free catalog.  Good luck!

  3. Search Yahoo Groups for a homeschooling group in your area and find another family who is selling their 2nd grade books!

    Homeschooling groups are a great resource for asking questions, buying and selling curriculum and sharing information about field trips!

  4. Rod and Staff does not offer the DVD option, but in many ways it is comparable to Abeka and is considerably less expensive. You can call for a free catalog at 1-606-522-4348.

  5. You might want to try one of the online schools like k12 or Connections Academy. They are free in some states. Check here

  6. You can try finding used materials online and save a considerable amount over buying new.

    You could look into Bob Jones, but they can also be pricey.  Again, look for used online.
