I would like to get the phone numbers or addresses for a few old high school friends. (They are not registered w/ Classmates.com or Reunion.com). If you or a friend used a service or bought a book which helped let me know.

  1. I was on the search committee for my class's reunion. We did it the hard way; divided up the lost members, with last known address and phone, and started writing and calling. We found a third of the people we looked for.

10% - 20% of the time you can find people via an exact phrase search in Google. That means you use quotation marks. You have to try all four forms of the name:

    "Abraham Lincoln"

    "Abe Lincoln"

    "Lincoln, Abraham"

    "Lincoln, Abe"

The case isn't important. You do have to use double quotes ("), not single ones (').

If your class has a reunion committee, it may have a designated list keeper, who has the master list of name, married name, address, phone and e-mail. He/She will probably be unwilling to divulge that address, but happy to forward a message for you.
