I am looking to build a new gaming rig, so I am shopping for a case. I usually buy Antec or other high-end cases, but I am currently unable to find one that has NO side window and NO annoying lights. My computer is in my bedroom, and I like it quiet and dark when I sleep. But, it seems all the new cases have obnoxious lighting that you can't turn off.

Can someone please recommend a top-notch case for me?

I am cool with a Mid or Full Tower for ATX form factor. It needs to have plenty of room inside for a modern video card and CPU cooling.

  1. Well, for a top-notch computer case with great cooling, I recommend  Cooler Master RC-690.  It has no side window, but comes with great cooling.  Space for five 5.25in drive and five 3.5in harddrive.  Well here are the feature it has:

Accommodates up to seven 120 mm fans for high-efficiency ventilation

Removable HDD racks provide for easy assembly

Cable management design for better cable routing and neatness

Tool-free user-friendliness for quick maintenance and upgrade

Roomy interior supports NVIDIA G80 SLI configuration

If you want something cheaper, but still almost as good, I recommend Antec Three Hundred.  It is almost the same as 690 but smaller.

  2. Try a Lian Li PC60. It is available with or without a window. It has a power light and a disk activity light but you don't need to connect them.

All of the Lian Li cases are very high quality but they are not cheap.
