Preferable Mexico - we were thinking somewhere Cabos San Lucas? Something that is reasonably priced but still luxurious!

  1. Hola!  Ya we have one "swinger" type place in SJD called Desiree!  Its quite the place.

You are looking for a no-children resort and we don't have too many of those..most people want to vacation with their family...especially mexicans...they are very family oriented.  You have the choices of:

    Pueblo Bonito Pacifica

    Villa del Arco

    ME Melia Cabo San Lucas

But keep in mind, most of the resorts are gigantic and often you won't even notice the children around....plus they usually have a kids club away from the main areas, or an adult only type pool area, so you won't have to tolerate kids screaming and splashing.  If you think you'd like to try them, then look into the Royal Solaris, Crowne Plaza and the Riu Sante Fe, or the El Presidente, or even the Westin Regina or Dreams or the Marquis.

  2. The El Dorado in Cancun (Mayan Riviera) was excellent. It is all inclusive a la carte not buffet style. Dinners on the beach. I must be hungry. Beautiful place, check out their website.

  3. I've never been, but it gets good ratings and I know some people that work there that describe it as a good time to be had by all.  It looks very nice from the outside, it's on the beach and is apparently a high end place and not at all smarmy, but I'm not sure.  My wife gets mad when I mention it.

    ;-)

At any rate, it's called, "Desire Resort and Spa".

Is this what you mean by "adults only"?
