I'm looking for a new expandable cordless phone system. I use Comcast for my voice provider, and I use their voicemail.

I need a phone system that does not have an answering system and that can notify me when I have voicemail waiting. looking at specs for these phones makes it hard to tell if they will do this, and most seem to have integrated answering systems.

  1. any Uniden and Panasonic (digital) can do that!!

Panasonic Dect 6.0 would be your best choice....

  2. How about Uniden TRU94852? I love the intercom feature and it's very easy to use.  The answeringmachine is well integrated into all phones. When the caller is leaving a new message, any phone has the capability to hear the incoming message (screening feature). Messages can be retrieved from any handset or from the base.

And it is not expensive now, a decent deal for it is only $100.
