looking for colleges near NY that have an undergraduate pre-chiropractic program.

- Does the school have a good rep in the chiropractic industry?

- Can you also recommend any chiro colleges.

    Chiropractic 'medicine' is basically a scam that's been perpetuated for a century now with no evidence it works at all, and plenty that it can do real harm.  If you want to actually help people, consider getting a real medical degree - like an MD or a nursing degree.


  2. Look into New York Chiropractic College and D'Youville College. Both have outstanding programs if you decide to become a chiropractic physician.

    D'youville has a BS/DC program (7 years), but it is a private college... which can be expensive in the long run.

    NYCC only has a DC program, but they have affiliations with local colleges and universities to assist you with pre-requisites.

    My opinion: it doesn't really matter where you get your undergrad degree. In all professional schools (MD, DDS, DO, DC) you will learn everything you need during your training. Just take all of the standard "pre-med" courses (aka pre medical professional).
