  1. Mc do/KFC/BG/Pizza Hut/kebab shop

  2. This is famously a culinary dead-zone.

Really the best thing for tyou to do is to make your way down to Russel Square where there are a whole bunch.

  3. try www.toptable.co.uk, it is a great search tool for places to eat in London, type in the post code or sort of cuisine you are looking for and it comes up with suggestions for you.  Often you can get a 360 degree view of the restaurants so you can check it out before you go there.

  4. I used to work on that road, and the only places I can think of are Pizza Express, which is very good, or one of the many pubs in the streets running off the other side of the road (ie opposite the British Library.)

  5. 'The place' is pretty decent. Its on the road next to St. Pancras church. There are a couple of good brazilian jpints on chalton street, right next to the british library. Drummond street is a 5-minute walk from the Brit Lib and you get great Indian and Pakistani ffo there.

  6. I have to agree with the Drummond Street suggestion.

The Diwana vegitarian Indian restaurant is one of my favourite eateries in London - amazing buffet at lunchtimes and great dhosas at all times.  It's BYOB and the prices and it's cheap and cheerful (not a date place).

To get there, just walk west along Euston Road and turn right just after Euston Station onto Melton St, then second left onto Drummond St.  The Diwana is just ahead on your left.
