Question:

Can you recommend me a carry-on luggage bag?

I have no idea what size and type of bag is allowed as carry-on luggage. i want to get one as large as possible as Im moving somewhere for a year.

  1. I'm pretty sure the requirements for carry-on luggage is 45 linear inches (length +width+height), and 40 pounds. All liquids have to be in 3 oz. containers sealed in a quart sized clear zip top bag. I don't know if you're a guy or a girl because your picture isn't showing up but if you're a girl Vera Bradley has some pretty cute bags that hold A LOT (that's what I'm planning on using for my trip to Chicago).

    If you're a guy check North Face or most sporting goods stores.


  2. Check the airlines site for regulations.  I just flew AA and their carry ons are supposed to be no more than 46 inches (measured around).   Last spring I flew on Northwest and their guide line is 24 inches in height  or less.

    You can always gate check it if it is a little larger than regulation.  It is best to take a soft duffle or large book bag, but a small carry on with wheels is handy too.
