I've been to the Santa Maura Hotel, it's just in front of a bus station and you arrive in the city centre in half an hour. There are two Santa Maura Hotels in the same place, one is a 3stars and the other is 4 stars and it's quite cheap. You may find it a bit far but in the city centre you pay a lot. Have a good trip! ciao

go to the train station. The hotels have a union there. The hotels that have vacancies call up and offer those rooms at discount rates. Go there an save a bunch of money. Thats what I did and I got cheap rates for a nice hotel room. 40 euros

I suggest you Eurostars International Palace hotel - via Nazionale no.46. It's a very well located hotel, just in the center of the city, very close to the mains beauties of Rome.
