Question:

Can you recommend me some drill bits for my drill?

I just purchased a Panasonic EY6405FQKW 12-Volt Ni-Cad 3/8-Inch Cordless Drill/Driver Kit from Amazon and I want to buy some bits for it but I know nothing about bits...like which brand is good or if they are pretty much all the same.

The drill is just for repairs that I might encounter around the house. I saw a nice one from Milwaukee but like I said I don't know what to look for in a bit set.

Thanks

  1. If your talking about "around the house" jobs, small things, then go buy a cheap set from Wal-Mart but, remember, you get what you pay for. Otherwise get a Grizzly catalog from the "

'Net and order a set from them, higher but, well worth it.

  2. dewalt bullet bits from lowes

  3. Wood bits  (6+ sizes)

    Masonry bits  (6+sizes)

    A countersink bit  (very useful)

Buy top brand quality - cheap bits break and arent worth it.

If you need Steel and Plastic bits you can get those too.

Go to a Builders Merchants where they sell professional quality.    and.....have fun but dont forget your Rawlplugs!
