Can you recommend some ammunition?

I have a .45 ACP and am looking for some relatively inexpensive ammo to use in target shooting.

Go to a gun store and ask for the cheapest ammo for a .45ACP

i would invest in some re-loading equipment and load your own. cheaper in the long run if your gun will take it. my .45 will take anything you feed through it , my brothers H&K tactical  .45 will not.

Good decent target ammunition I would reccomend Blazer aluminum cased if you don't reload or blazer brass or winchester white box if you do reload or want to keep the brass. All 3 of those are great for target shooting, are on the lower price scale, but are good quality and you won't have problems with it.

"UMC" (Generic brand made by Remington)

"USA" (Generic brand made by Winchester)

"American Eagle" (Generic brand made by Federal)

The only way to get .45 cheap is to buy in bulk... I dont know if that will work for you but if you shoot a lot then bulk is the best investment. Why nickel and dime yourself buying a $20 box here, a $19 box there.... Cough up enough for 500 or 1000 round bulk packages and save some real money.... Get together with another .45 owner and split the purchase if moneys tight.....
