  4. Try some classics like Nicholas Nickleby by Dickens or Persuasion by Austen.  Also, Emily Bronte, Charlotte Bronte, Anne Bronte, and Herman Wouk have some good offerings for readers.

    If you're getting ready for college, check out some Max Shulman from the public library.  Barefoot boy with cheek, Potatoes are Cheaper and The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis will make you laugh out loud.
