Can you recommend some books written in Spanish (preferably the Mexican dialect)for young children, 5-9 years?

  1. Our local library has a section. My daughter liked the spanish versions of her favs - Cat and the Hat or Brown Bear, Brown Bear.


  2. Your library should have a whole bunch of Spanish-version English books.  My son is taking Spanish and currently has a lot checked out from our library.

    You should be able to purchase them at any bookstore.  Try Amazon to start.  Do a search for "Spanish [title of English book or author]"

    There are a ton of Dr. Suess books in Spanish.  I don't know if the dialect is Spanish or Mexican, but it really wouldn't matter all that much.

  3. All the Dr Suess books and Biscuits are available in Espanol. I bought mine at Barnes and Nobel.

    Try this site too for some ideas.  Most of it is members only now, but it use to have tons of things for learning. Some of it is still available.
