  1. You should definately try 'Eat and Two Veg', I went there fairly recently and everthing was lovely. Previously I had never been to a place where I had more that one or two options. Here I was spoilt for choice and it was actually difficult to decide! Defintaly worth a visit, I think they have a website with a sample menu.

  2. I recall that when I was in London the food was absolutely delicious! Being a vegetarian, I was scared when I walked into McDonalds, but their veggie burger has so many toppings it was defenitely worth ordering....The Indian food was outstanding, and had a great variety of vegatarian food. There was one (Indian) restaraunt close to the Holiday Inn near Kings Cross that had great food...I also recall the name "The Bombay Grill", but I'm not sure if that was correct. Don't fret too much, as the food will find it's way too you!

  3. Rasa, many locations in London. Keralan (Indian) cuisine.

Saf near Old Street is raw food/vegan place and gets great reviews.

  4. My absolute favourite is Manna in Primrose Hill - really gourmet delicious veggie/vegan food. Great for a romantic dinner for two.

Alternatively, the Gate in Hammersmith is also fantastic, really creative veggie food.

Blah Blah Blah in Shepherds Bush is also lovely, though its bring your own bottle, and the ambience of the restaurant is not great, but the food is amazing.

Lastly, if you want quick fast veggie food, try Red Veg near Oxford Circus or Tai Veg on Greek Street in Soho for a whole host of wonderful, oriental fake meat dishes!

  5. There is an Indian-Ugandan restaurant in Tooting that is very good. Also, Food For Thought in Covent Garden, though it is more of a canteen

  6. Try Manna, or any other vegetarian or veg-friendly restaurants listed on VegDining.com.  There are so many in London!

They now have the most current listing.

And an article on vegetarian dining in the city:

    Good luck!
