Can you record Direct TV to Computer via S-Video?

I want to record a a CNN show. I have direct tv and a direct tv box. There are two(2) female s-video slots on the back of the direct tv box and they appear to both be video outs.

Is it possible to record this CNN show using this S-Video out?

If yes, what do I have to have on my video cardo in order to do this? A S-Video Input ?

You have to buy a tv-tuner card or usb in order to get tv in your computer. Software to record comes with it. so yes you can record.
