Can you record a song on the BB pearl?and apply as ringtone?

i just got the blackberry 8110 and was wondering if i could record a song and apply it as my ringtone

I have an 8130 and I can on it.  Just buy a micro SD memory card for your phone along with a USB San Disk card reader.  Load your songs on to the card, then go into the media of your phone and apply it as a ring-tone.

yes there are two ways you can do this. But every carriers device are different. If you have the "Voice Notes Recorder" icon on your device, than you can do this. It is also wise to purchase a SD card to save the audio/sound clip too. If you start storing them on your Blackberry, you may run out of storage room.

So assuming that you do, follow the steps below.

Open the "Voice Notes Recorder".

Record something.

Save recording.

Exit out.

On the main screen:

Go to Profiles

Scroll all the way down until you see advance.

Choose "Phone"

Scroll down to "Tunes"

Click on it and select "Browse"

Choose "Voicenotes" and select audio clip.
