Can you record directly onto an Archos player using a bullet camera without having to use the docking station?

Unfortunately that option isn’t available on the current Archos models.  The functionality was available on older models such as the 604, however on the current models you will need to use a DVR station.  The stations are relatively cheap (Dixons currently have these available) from £45.

Alternatively most Bullet cameras can connect to camcorders via a Phono/RCA cable.  A good model for this would be the Sony SR-35, which has a 30GB hard drive and is also shock resistant.

the best model wasn't the 605, the Gen6 (606) will be released on September, i suggest wait for the Gen6
