Can you record songs on an empty DVD?

Can you record songs on an empty dvd? and be able to play it in any CD player.. If so, how? Is there like a special way to format it? any help appreciated!! =]

  1. I can Record the songs on to DVD, its easy.  

    and  DVD can't read on the CD Player  but CD can read on the DVD player


  2. No. Tried it and it wouldn't work... couldn't find any software that would make it work either!  They work great for computer files such as documents and web movies though!
