Can you record video on the blackberry curve 8310?

I was thinking about getting it but i record video alot thanks if you can help

i have a blackberry curve.

and when i first got it, it thought that i could take video. but i couldn't find it anywhere, i hate the video icon but i couldn't take my own. so i went to my local at&t store and they told me it is not capable or taking video. i was pretty bummbed! but they said the new version of the balckberry curve that is coming out soon has the video capablitly.
