Can you recycle TVs?

Question

Well my TV broke. It only shows 1-13 channels. I dont just want to throw it away because its bad for the earth, and i feel its just a waste. Can i take it somewhere where it could be used to fix other tvs or a place that recycles tvs??????

I've saved my electronic junk for the "annual community" recycling and their appointments had "filled up" and it was by appointment only.  What a bunch of c**p.  There should be a place in all medium to large cities to take the stuff too and drop it off, whenever.

Normally, in your neighborhood- they will have an annual electronic recycling "festival" where you can go and recycle any large, electronic items which would not be allowed to just be thrown away. Some businesses may also accept them. Good luck..and thanks for recycling!
