  1. Not like that person is trying to do.  My city has brush pickup that they take to the compost center.

  2. yupp, it can be recycled!!!

if you have a garden of your own, you can hang a bird house by its stem as it is flexible. and you can paste leaves and flowers of the shrub on it. if they are dried, it is more better.

    have fun in recycling!!!

  3. A week ago I took my yard waste to the recycle center and I found a great shrub for my home it was free so far so good I will check for other plants that someone didn't want anymore

  4. We are re-landscaping and posted all our old shrubs on Craigslist for free.  Worked like a charm.

  5. If you have a lot of shrubs, or just one or two huge ones to get rid of, consider renting a chipper.  The chips can be used as mulch.  But don't use raw chips like this right up next to the house.  They rot (just as they're supposed to), and best kept away from siding, trim, etc. on the house.

Besides, using a chipper is wicked fun.  You'll be amazed at how such big shrubs can be reduced to such small piles.

Just be careful.  Watch the movie "Fargo" first, to give you the proper respect for the kind of injury a chipper can cause.  There's no sewing back on anything lost to a chipper.

  6. Yes, but Special pick-up...!!

  7. No, you cannot. You have to put it in a compost bin and let it decompose to return nutrients to the soil.

  8. Yes.  I use shrubs and plant cuttings as fill in rocky areas of my property.  I've been doing this for 25 years. It makes a very good mulch also, and the brush gives protection for small game.  After that many years of "recycling" my plants, I have a gorgeous backyard.

  9. Yes, but not that way.  Call your parks dept and ask

  10. Why not? Its a biodegrable thing
