I know what you mean!  Our house was TPed three nights in a row last year and we had a HUGE pile that I wanted to recycle! Our recycling guy wouldn't take it though.  *sigh*

No I can't recycle toilet paper. It's nasty.  I can use toilet paper made from recycled paper.  There's a difference.

Although most or hopefully most toilet paper is itself already been recycled once. it is not itself recyclable. It is made to be rapidly biodegradable, meaning it will decompose fast. It should not stay in the sewer pipes long, or it would contribute to clogged drains and more frequent plumber visits.

And who among us would want to store it for future reuse? Not very sanitary.

no you can't but there's recycled toilet paper. You can recycle the tubes too. But why would you wanna recycle it?

I think it does get recycled as it gets flushed and goes to the sewage farm.
