  1. If you really have 10 DM coins it might be better to sell them on Ebay. 10 DM coins are not in circulation and were minted purely for the collectors market. Check out Ebay for current prices.

  2. You can't redeem coins into Euros.

  3. all old german currency (marks in paper or coins) can be exchanged at the ECB (European Central Bank) For locations you can check on the web I'm sure.

  4. The Deutsche Mark notes can only be exchanged at the Federal Bank (Bundesbanken) http://www.finanzinform.de/bankenliste_b...

or at the State Central Bank (Landeszentralbanken) since 3/1/2002, Local banks are not accepting DM anymore.

  5. Grumpy is right on, only the central Federal bank of any Euro country will now change old money into new but I think there is a minimum requirement.

As for collectors value for 1976 they are $3.00(US) each if they are silver it is $55(US) but they are becoming more collectable each year.

  6. I would save them if I were you.  They are collector items now.  You could probably sell them to a coin dealor of more than the exchange rate would be.
