Can an out-of-state corporation register a DBA in California, or is this solely for California corporations?

  1. No problem, you are confusing two things here.

    (1) filing a DBA which basicly means you do business under a name that isn't yours

    (2) doing business in a state that isn't yours

    These two things have nothing to do with each other and you should register twice, once for the DBA once for the doing business in Calfifornia
