  1. Yes, there are some instances where you can do so.  It totally depends on the breed/breeds that you are attempting to register.  If you can be more specific, maybe one of us here can steer you in the right direction to get it done.  Good luck and don't give up.

  2. If only one parent is registered (You didn't say which breed), there are a couple of registries I know of, but don't have any websites where you can contact them.

Arabian Horse has a 1/2 registry and for the Thoroughbred "The Remount" registry.

IF your horse has colour (Albino, Buckskin, Palomino, Dun, Pinto.) you can register it for colour.

  3. if the parent that isnt reggistered but is a purebred then maybey

  4. I asked the same question a week or so ago.  I have an unregistered warmblood mare that is a percheron x qh, and I e-mailed the sporthorse assocation (as I want a jumper), and they said the foal can be registered as long as I breed her to a quarter horse.

It really does depend on what registry though, your best bet is to either e-mail or call them and find out their rules, and if it would be possible.

  5. yes you can

  6. yes you can register it.

  7. It would depend on what registry you want to register the horse with.  Each regisrty had its own criteria for registration.

  8. You might not be able to register then as purebred, but they could probably be registered as part-bred

  9. Depends on the breeding. You can register a  horse as half arab if you can prove one of the parents was a full blooded Arab. You can register a half quarter horse half thoroughbred as an appendix quarter horse. Check with the breed associations. You can register any pinto or palomino horse with those associations regardless of breeding.
