Yes I can but the government will not stop the prices increasing due to the fact that we are gunna run out of petrol and this is a way of spreading it further x

Yep, I can.   I live in a rural area with no regular bus service, so I have no alternative but to use my car.  I can't remember the last time I could afford to fill it up and and I must admit to running it close to empty most of the time.

I have just invested in a bicycle for close journeys, like picking my daughter up from school, but I must admit it's quite frightening riding on country roads with a nine year old.  Most drivers are good at slowing down when the see us but some lorrys and cars whiz past frightening the h**l out of us.

Given that the Government taxes fuel to the hilt, I think it fair that they should provide cycle lanes on all roads, so that those of us who can't afford to fill up are safe to cycle.
