If your child is old enough to ask, he's old enough to know.  In words he can understand anyway.  A 5 y/o does not need to know the details of intercourse, but he is old enough to know the difference in boys and girls.

If your child is asking questions and you are not giving straight forward answers, you better bet he will ask other people (sometimes the wrong people).  You need to be sure your child gets the right answers from you, not the wrong answers from the play ground.  Otherwise, he might end up being one of those teen parents who thought there was no way to get pregnant if she didn't have an o****m and she did jumping jacks upside down after s*x.....

There's a big difference between both- curious about the private parts- they start from when they're babies,

and s*x---well my 6 year old is curious and it's only because he hears the word on TV
