Can you remove the letters on a car without breaking them.?

  1. do you mean like a car emblem? or like on the side of the car where it would say something like "Cadillac"?


  2. depends on the exact model of the vehicle and spot.

    some letters are glued on and could damage your clearcoat/paint depending what method is used to remove them...

    otheres are screwed on so you would have some holes ...

  3. Im not a gm guy....

    .....but I own/owned 4 gm vehicles and they all had the emblems/letters just glued on.....letting the letters sit in the sun will get the adhesive tacky enough to be sliced with fishing line with ease...the rest of the adhesive needs to be removed, followed by a cleaner, polish, and wax process...they can be reused but aligning them can be a pita lol
