I'm gonna be travelling out to PA and I want to know if there are any car rental places that dont require a credit card and will allow me to rent a car while being 23.

Any suggestions?

  1.     as  long  as  you  are  paying  cash  i  am  sure  you'll  get  one

if  you  really  look  for  it.try

  2. Since you're under 25, you will probably have to pay an extra charge per day for being underage.  Are you talking about paying in cash or using a debit card?  The more commonly known rental companies only take credit cards, but I know at least Enterprise will take debit card and just take an extra $250 deposit that will be returned to you when you return the car.  If you're looking to do cash, you will probably have to find a smaller company that is flexible enough for that.

  3. Few companies will allow you to rent a car without a credit card.

  4. All of the major rental firms require a credit card and an extra fee for under 25 rentals.  Over 25 with some firms, you can get pre-approved for cash rentals.

You might do better by checking for car dealerships that rent cars, they are sometimes more flexible.  You will need to leave a VERY large cash deposit however, I expect.

  5. It's almost universal for you to rent a car with a credit card. It's a matter of security. 23 may be too young, it is in Europe.
