Can you rent a jet ski at 18?

Its my 18th birthday on saturday and i wanted to go jet skiiing with my boyfriend in st petersburg florida or sietsa key florida.

You can legally drive a boat when your 14, and a jet ski when you're 16, so I imagine it's no problem if your 17, or 18.

If you're 18 you can definitely fine. I don't know about "magixmatrix" but the rules In Virginia are the opposite, 14 to drive a jetski, 16 w/ drivers license to drive a boat.

according to the Fl state website   myfwc.com in that state you must pass an approved course if you are under 21. so,, no 14 for any craft, no 16 for any craft and only 18 if you have someone in the craft that is 21 or over.  this is according to the florida wildlife conservation website under the boating / regulations / education area.
