i know this has nothing to do with this question, but i saw that you asked a question a while ago asking if there was a hollister in hollister in hollister, ca.

the answer you were given is incorrect.

haha. and i know i sound crazy or something.

but i cant stand it when people are wrong.

so here:

no. there is not a hollister store in hollister, ca.

i have been to hollister and it is a plain boring town with dirt roads.

the only people who want to visit it are there because hollister has good tracks for riding dirtbikes and such.

hollister brand has a fictional story behind it, as do the other a&f brands; ruehl no. 925, and gilly hicks.

its all a part of michael jeffries' (a&f ceo) to make a pleasant shopping atmosphere.

the fictional story states hollister was founded by j.m. hollister in 1922 as a pacific merchant shop in socal.

so, in the story, hollister is a name, and not a place.
