Can you rent wakeboards?

Question

So my family and i are going up north soon to a lake. And i was wondering.. we're borrowing a boat and water skis, but can you rent wake boards too? I was looking them up at sporting goods stores and they're expensive and i saw that you needed like.. shoes? There will be all sizes sharing the same board.

could we do that?

yes.

you can demo some wakeboards at local wakeboard shops or go to a sporting goods store like sports authority, joe's outdoors, gart sports, whatever it may be called in your town..

if this is a one- time thing, you should demo a board that is around140 cm long, it may be tough for smaller people, but it is universal generally.

the "shoes" that are attached to the board are bindings and they will come with the board if you rent it, you should get the median sized binding out of every one that youre going with, that way every1 will be happy..

due to the variety of sizes everyone will probably have to end up compromising in every way in order to use the board you rent..

yes .. at some sporting good stores you can rent wakeboards... where are you going? maybe google the local sporting good stores around where your going to find out which ones will and which one will be the cheapest good luck and have fun

yeah i rented a wakeboard at lake norman once. and the "shoes" are called bindings, which can sometimes be adjusted. it depends on tte brand. but sometimes you can rent the board from where you rented the boat. i have seen tons of places like that. hope this helps.
