I was hitting some rails today and theres like 3 big chips on the bottom of my board from the rail. my uncle has the same thing and he's been riding his board like that for a few years now so its not too big of a deal, but i was wondering if this was repairable... 2 of them still have the material hanging off and one came off.

  1. what board u talking bout??

  2. You can take it in to a shop and get it fixed for about $50.  However, it's really easy to fix the bottom of the board.  You need a few tools  a P-tex candle. and some wax remover.  The tools, wax, base cleaner and p-tex are available from a board shop or ski shop..

First-- remove the excess material from the chips with a scraper

Second-- Strip the wax off the bottom of the board, following the instructions on the remover

Third -- Melt the P-tex into the hole, either with an iron or light the candle if it has a wick.  Use it after it has stopped turning black.

Fourth-- Let it cool and scrape the excess P-tex flush and smooth

Fifth -  Tune the edges and Re-wax the board.

  3. (1)you could use magic putty that stuff on tv

(2)you could fill it in then get it waxed

(3)you could glue it if you still have the pieces.

  4. well, you should just buy a new snow board but, you are able to get it repaired but it would be very expencive
