  1. my camera screen broke and i bought the same camera on ebay for like 10 dollars and used that screen and my brother replaced it

  2. Better of getting a new camera.

  3. Your warranty will likely replace it (under the right conditions). Check your manual, and your store. If its out of warranty, no, its not worth it to replace... the cost would get you a brand new camera.

  4. If the LCD got busted at Warped (i.e. A concert), it's safe to assume the camera either dropped or was subject to rain, beverages and the like.

If that is the case, there's NO manufacturer's warranty that would cover it.  Remember, Manufacturer's Warranties only cover stuff that is their fault, like materials or manufacture.  NOT circumstances that are outside of their control - misuse, abuse and the like.

Now if you bought a seperate protection plan, usually from the retailer, then it should be covered.  But if you did not, you will be better off buying a new camera.

  5. If it's covered under warranty, yes. Otherwise, depending on the camera you have, it may cost about the same (or perhaps even less) to buy a replacement model vs. fixing it.
