  2. If you are working in a hot environment and sweating a lot or if you are exercising you can because you need the extra stuff that is added to the water. But as just a regular drink replacement then it would not be a good replacement for water. However, it would still be better than sodas though.

  4. Not TRUE, to much Gatorade will make you sick to your stomach ,it will throw off your electrolyte balance. You need water to maintain good general health. By design it is for athletes while they are being athletic not general consumption. That is kind of a misleading sales tactic

    It also contains SALT which you dont need extra, most foods today are loaded with it

    if your working out I've heard that water is best to drink before doing a physical activity, because Gatorade replaces what you lose when you sweat and stuff, which is why they have a lot of sugar

    but if your just talking general, I'd say that is fine, as long as you still drink some water, because sometimes gatorade and other sports drinks can be really sugary
