  1. Yes you can, but once you put your DH into a defensive position you lose the DH for the rest of the game. So your pitcher would have to bat. However in your scenerio that might not be a bad thing since you replaced the pitcher with a position player. However if you put in another pitcher later in the game, he will have to take the original 2nd baseman's batting spot in the order.

  2. Yes, you can do that, but you cannot move anyone around in the batting order. You loose the DH option for the rest of the game.

  3. Yes that can be done. Of course techincally the current pitcher, the starting 2nd baseman, is now in the lineup. Therefore if the dh was hitting 2nd, and the starting 2nd baseman was hitting 8th, now the former dh playing 2nd base hits 2nd, and the picther hits 8th.

  4. Yes but you would lose the DH and your pitcher/old second baseman would have to bat. You lose the DH when you move him to a possition.

  5. yes -- and this switch does not affect your batting order since both players were already batting.

  6. No, you can't. Once the DH comes out to play a position in the field you lose the use of the DH. Any other pitcher you bring in will have to bat in the game.
