  2. Child support if for the child, not the parent. If the child isn't born there is no need for support.. Child support isn't for your expenses, it's for the childs.  

  3. If the father doesn't sign the birth certificate then you have to establish paternity before requesting support. I would think the baby would have to be born before requesting support.

  4. No, not until baby is born. You can get all the answers to your questions at the CSA website below.

  5. Nope. Before the baby's born, that'd be called Woman Support, not child support. You can't get any support until you've delivered.  

  6. I don't know the answer...but I would hope you could get support before the baby is born.  If you need help buying healthy food, maternity clothing etc...  Also if you were on bed rest.

    If you need help - do call Family Services in your province and request it - so you can get help right away...there are lots of programs out there.  My sister qualified for free milk in our province even though they make more than minimum wage.

    Contact a lawyer and ask them - they should do a first consultation for free anyway...and if it looks like you are going to have to fight for child support you might as well start now.
