Can you respect Paulin for who she is not who chose her as a running mate.?

All the trash I've seen thrown at her is based on the possibility she's a working middle class Mom who saw need for improvement and did it. I don't believe this trash that's being thrown but if it were true, wouldn't that make her one of us? Maybe you prefer the Bush's or Clinton's that can afford to cover up? I prefer someone who came up through the ranks from the trenches. I mean come on, her Husband still works a job where you have to get dirty. And she can do Marathons and her Husband kicks @ss on endurance contests.

I can respect her as the governor of a sparsely populated state. I can respect that she was the choice of the voters of that state. I can respect her accomplishments. But she is not ready for the national stage. Nor was she picked because she is ready.

Anyone smart enough would know that Palin is just a tool to get McCain elected. Once McCain is in office, do you honestly believe that she would have any say in anything?  McCain will not respect her! In his mind, he would say she has no experience, and why should he listen to her!

No, I can't.  I respect the man who chose her as a running mate, but I don't have any respect for her.  I don't like people who hunt for sport, and I really don't like Palin for supporting a policy of decimating 80% of the wolf and bear population in Alaska just so sport hunters can have more moose and elk to shoot.  Also, I think she is covering up her teenage daughter's pregnancy by claiming the child as her own.  I don't think she is as honest as she claims.

All that stuff is nice, but it still doesn't qualify you to be a heartbeat away from being the leader of the free world.  The fact remains that two years ago her biggest achievement was being the former mayor of tiny Wasilla, Alaska.  McCain, by selecting her, just handed Obama the presidency.

What McCain did was smart but I dont think that he looked at it good enough...He probably choose her to get some of the Hilary supports from Obama on his side...smart move, just poorly done....and no I dont think she is qualified and I think that she knows that most of the country thinks the same....

Yes,

she has more executive experience than Obama and Biden (after his 30+ years in the Senate).

She has balanced a budget, taxed big oil, taken on corruption in her own party and provided a surplus of money that resulted in a $1200. per family rebate. All things the one term Senator, Obama, has talked about but never done.

Theres alot of trash being thrown at the obamas too.  Unfortunately this is what politics is.  Personally Im against it.  But the fact the she was a poor choice is not trash its truth.  There were way more qualified people that mccain could have picked.  Obama didn't take his decision lightly and picked someone who is ready to step in if anything happens to him.
