Can you retuen things on ebay?

if you buy somthing off ebay can you return it if you dont like it ?

I sell and buy on ebay, and honestly that depends on the seller. You need to read very carefully what thier terms are before you buy an item. If it is past that, and you bought something you now want to return you need to be sure the reason is because it was either damaged on the way, or it isn't what they claimed it was otherwise the seller does not have to do anything.

Also, be wary of those telling you to threaten negative feedback because that can come back to bite you in the butt.

not like at walmart where they have to take it back. if u email seller and ask them to, you have a slim chance of convincing them to take item back. good luck. i guess u can try to sell it on ebay to someon else if all else fails

That is entirely up to the seller. You would have to contact them to see if they have any kind of return policy on what they sell.

But I think you'll find that just because "you don't like it" will not be a good enough reason for most sellers to accept a return. If it is defective, then you have a legitimate reason to ask for your money back.

If the seller does agree to take it back, then more than likely you will have to pay for return shipping.

It's entirely up to the person or business from whom you bought it. Ebay is made up of millions of individual sellers, each of whom has their own policy on returns. I believe most sellers do allow for returns/refunds/replacements.

Personally, I offer full refunds, less postage, on any returns made within a reasonable period . . . about 2 weeks . . . assuming the item is the same item I shipped and is returned in the same condition I sent it. If the customer still wants to keep the item but is unhappy with something about it, I try to work out a partial refund that everyone can agree to. Each case is a little different but a reputable seller will always work with a reasonable customer to a mutually satisfactory conclusion.

Unless there are specified damages or false explanations for your product you purchased, there is no way.

However, many times if you are not satisfied with the product, contact the seller on email and ask them for a refund or atleast a partial refund. Also, if you have been cheated or possibly ripped off, for an additional charge of 50$ to ebay, you can basically buy a internet lawyer that determines a full refund of not. Hope this helps.

Well it really depends on the person you are buying from.  Look at the policy, it should tell you whether they accept returns or not.  Also, I believe it may be possible to return a product that is broke or if you have been sent the wrong product.

NO. it's probably in the rules somewhere. haha. plus once you swipe your card, or give you money to someone else, they have complete control. It might be up to the person.
