hi i bought 3 boxes of color contacts from my eye doctor. they are freshlook colorblends. i find them to be very uncomfortable, I thought they would become better after a few days after my eyes adjusted to them, but they won't.

i'm just wondering if i can return them to the place i purchased them and maybe try a different brand???

they were $120. i doubt they would take the boxed i already opened but i have 2 other boxes at $40 each...

  1. Did you have a trial lens with the doctor?  Usually with a new fit you wear a trial lens for a week or two before ordering.

If this was a new fit and the first time you tried them, the doctor will likely let you exchange them.  Call  your eye doctor and ask.

I'm assuming you had a fitting with the doctor and the doctor supplied them.  If you purchased them elsewhere with the doctor's prescription, you will have to ask the place where you purchased them.

  2. Some optometrists may accept unopened and unmarked boxes for return.

Trying a different brand won't likely help, coloured contacts in my experience are always uncomfortable. I don't recommend them.
